My One and Only

Jordan will always hold a special place in my heart.  He is my first born.  My one and only son.  He and I were on our own for six years until I married Rob.  He was my man.  My main squeeze.  My entire world revolved around one little boy.  Those days seem so long ago yet I remember them like they were yesterday.  Life wasn't easy, but he has always brought so much joy into my heart.  I've always wanted to do what's best for him and give him the best of everything that I'm able to.  He's so special and will always be my baby boy.  Just showing my boy some blog love today.

He's becoming so handsome the older he gets.  He's going to break many hearts.  Watch out girls!

 He's the best big brother.

He's almost a 6th grader.  I cannot believe it!

He's often goofy and trying to make everyone laugh.

He loves his little sisters and they are lucky to have him as a big brother.

He's going to be taller then me very soon.

Love you Jordan Alexander.  To the moon and back.

Four Months Old! 05.07.12

Harper Leigh you are FOUR months old!!  This past month went by in the blink of an eye.  No joke!  You seem to be changing every single day, right before our eyes.

Sleep:  You sleep on average 11 hours at night from around 7pm until 6am.  No complaints from this Mommy!

Feed:  You eat every 3-4 hours and anywhere from 4 to 6 ounces.  You're still on Similac Isomil.

Weight:  You weigh 15 lbs 8 oz.  That puts you in the 77th percentile!

Length:  You are 25.5 inches long.  That puts you in the 89th percentile!

Diapers:  We are finishing up the huge box of size 1-2 that we got at Costco.  You are definitely ready for size 3.  We'll be headed to the store in a few days to stock up again.  We're barely squeezing your tush in the diapers we have!

Clothes:  You are in 3-6 months clothes and some 6-9 months clothes.  You are so long!  You're outgrowing your clothes way too fast.  I don't like it one bit.

Hair Color:  It's still light brown with some dark brown in the back.  Along with the oh so lovely bald spot.  Hopefully you get some more hair in soon.

Eye Color:  They are still blue like Daddy's.  Maybe we'll have two blue eyed babies after all.  Only time will tell.

Milestones:  You can roll over now in both directions!  You're also starting to laugh!  There's nothing better then the beginning of sweet baby giggles.

Favorite Toy:  Anything you can get your hands on.  You grab everything that's within your reach these days and they all go into your mouth.  We just bought you a activity jumper so you can sit up and play now.  You love it.  If only we could get your big sister D to stay out of it.

Firsts:

First time rolling from tummy to back 04.12.12
First housewarming party 04.21.12
First laugh at Mommy 04.22.12
First trip to a museum 04.28.12
First time rolling from back to tummy 04.28.12
First trip to the park 05.05.12

I asked your pediatrician about your head.  You have a flat spot in the back of your head on the right side.  She said to do more tummy time and to try to encourage you to look the other direction so that you're not constantly on that side.  Hopefully it will get better with time.  We want you to have a nice round melon.  Oh and your umbilical hernia is gone.  You have such a cute little outie belly button now.

That's all for month four!  I'm so excited for the month ahead.  You have many exciting new "firsts" coming your way.  One of which will be meeting Mickey!

Dino Museum

Last weekend we took the kids to the Arizona Museum of Natural History in Mesa.  We needed to get out of the house and do something and I've wanted to take the kids to this museum for a while.  We've also wanted to take a little road trip in our new family vehicle as well.  So off to Mesa we went!

A quick picture of the kids in front of the museum.

Harper was awake and looking around the entire time we were there.  I think she enjoyed it as well.

They had tons of dinosaurs so naturally the kids loved it.

Delaney hanging on in the elevator.  She ran all over the place checking everything out.

They got to pan for gold too.

We tried to lock Rob up in one of the jail cells...

This is actually the first picture I have taken of all four of the kids together.  Bad Mommy!

And to prove that I was actually there.....

This was an awesome place and definitely recommend it to other people with families.
